I wish we could get L. in some after-school classes, but he digs his heels in and won't go anywhere after school.Aliki2006https://www.blogger.com/profile/15763865834765963343noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31602017.post-4112420402118520922008-02-10T07:52:00.000-05:002008-02-10T07:52:00.000-05:00I think you made a great call.I had my son in gymn...I think you made a great call.
I had my son in gymnastics last year (he was almost 4). I got increasingly frustrated because he just wasn't quite ready to do some stuff. And, being the stubborn child he is when he wanted to do one thing and we were doing another he would have a complete meltdown. The teachers weren't terribly sympathetic. It got to the point where every Saturday morning he had a complete meltdown and I felt like a terrible parent because my child simply refused to do a backwards sommersault.
Eventually I pulled him out (with 3 classes to go).
The other day he asked to go back. I'm thinking now that he's older we may enroll him in a spring session - somewhere else!Laural Dawnhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08459584652802529868noreply@blogger.com
